This show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (B.S.P.S.) and all persons entering, competing, showing or o the rwise taking part in the B.S.P.S. Classes, whe the r or not members of the B.S.P.S. are subject to the constitution and rules of the B.S.P.S. including the Disciplinary Procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S..
B.S.P.S. Rosettes will be awarded to the Champion and Reserve Champion Show Pony and Working Hunter provided the pony is registered and owned by a Member of the B.S.P.S..
Classes 49-54 are to be run in accordance with B.S.P.S. rules for 2005, ages for riders as per B.S.P.S. Rules and Show Handbook 2005.
This Show is a qualifier for the B.S.P.S. Championships. The 1st and 2nd Prizewinners only form Classes 46-49 & 1st, 2nd and 3rd from class 50 inclusive qualify, provided the pony is registered and owned by a member of the B.S.P.S. before the date of the Show at which it qualifies, and ridden by a B.S.P.S Member.

BLUE TICKETS - These cost £6 each, over and above the normal entry fee, and may be purchased from the Show Secretary by members and non-members and entitles them to ride in one class for every ticket purchased - no prize money or qualification may be won. (See note on Affiliated Competitions at end of Jumping Classes).
BSJA rules and regulations apply and riders are reminded to check BSJA Dress and Safety Wear Code. Earlier BSJA Ticket to Ride promotional (vouchers-originals only), from Horse Magazine acceptable. St Mellons Show will award a rosette to each competitor with a blue ticket completing a clear round.
BSJA AFFILIATED COMPETITION
The BSJA has a competition structure, which accomodates all standards of horses and riders with the smallest class, which is known, as the British Novice, starting at 0.85m in height for juniors and 0.9m in height for seniors. The height is progressive to encourage correct and safe show jumping with the opportunity of qualifying to compete at one of the prestigious shows such as The Festival of Showjumping, The Royal International Show or even the Horse of the Year Show.
